Así dice mi mamá. "Primero lo Primero".
Así que aquí va: me encanta la historia, estudio diseño de modas, soy obsesiva y tengo una debilidad por todo lo referente al siglo XVIII. Pero éste blog no es (solo) para alimentar mis obsesiones, es para mi TESIS. Sí la palabra del terror "tesis" al final de la carrera :S Permítanme contarles sobre mi tesis:
Se llamará "La influencia de la moda en el cuerpo y la interpretación artística". Para ésto necesito varias cosas: una cantante, prendas histíricamente correctas, repertorio del barroco tardío, un camarógrafo, libros de historia, libros de historia de la moda y mucha paciencia para coser a mano. Al final resultará algo así: la cantante montará un repertorio del barroco tardío y yo le haré las prendas históricamente correctas, todas hechas a mano. Ella estudiará usando stays (corset) y el camarógrafo documentará todos sus cambios de postura, respiración, fraseo, etc. Éstos videos se subirán a un canal de YouTube.com y a éste blog. Al final hab´ra un concierto en que ella usará sus prendas del siglo XVIII acompañada de intérpretes de música antigua tocanto isntrumentos barrocos.
Bueno, ese es el resumen y ahora saben cuál es el trabajo rudo que me espera.:D

My mom says so. "First the First".
So here it goes: I love history, I study fashion design, I am obsesive and have a weakness for everything 18th century. But this blog is not (only) for my obssesions, it is for my THESIS. Yes the terror word "thesis" at the end of the career :S. Let me tell you about my thesis:
It will be called "The influence of fashion in the body and the artistic interpretation". For this I need plenty of things that you will know in this blog: a singer, historically correct garments, late baroque repertoire, a camera man, history books, fashion history books and a lot of patience for hand sewing. It will end up like this: The singer will have a late baroque repertoire and I will make her the historical garments based in (obviously) historical patterns, everything handmade. She will study with the stays on and the camera man will document all the changes of her posture, singins, breath, phrases, etc. This videos will be uploaded in a YouTube.com channel and in ths blog. At the end there will be a concert wearing her 18th century garments, with baroque instruments and early music players.
That's the resume and now yo can tell the hard work that awaits me :D
